Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026-08-31
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and cloudblocks AB (org.nr 559520-4370), a company registered in Sweden with its registered office at Lindekullegatan 41B, 441 65 Alingsås, Sweden, which operates FakturaKlar. References to "FakturaKlar" or "the Service" throughout these Terms refer to the service operated by cloudblocks AB.
Our Data Processing Agreement is incorporated into, and forms part of, these Terms. It governs how we process the personal data of your customers that you store using the Service. By accepting these Terms, you also accept the Data Processing Agreement.
1. The service
FakturaKlar is a software-as-a-service platform that lets businesses ("Admins") create, manage, and send invoices and quotes to their own customers. Each Admin account operates in an isolated workspace; Admins cannot see or access another Admin's data.
2. Account & eligibility
You must verify your email address and phone number, and provide accurate company/legal information, before using the invoicing and estimating features. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter about your business and your customers.
3. Free allowance, credits & billing
Every new account receives 3 free invoices, one time only, when the account is created. This is not a monthly or annual allowance and does not renew, once used, it is gone permanently. Quotes are unlimited and free, and do not consume invoice credits.
Once your free allowance is used, creating further invoices requires invoice credits, purchased in fixed packs via Stripe. Current pack prices and credit amounts are shown on the Buy invoice credits page and in Settings → Billing; all prices shown there exclude moms, and 25% Swedish VAT is added at checkout.
- Credits expire 1 year after the date they were granted or purchased. Each free allowance or pack you buy is tracked separately from that date; any unused amount from a given batch is forfeited once that batch turns one year old. Credits granted manually by a super administrator (for example, to resolve a support issue) do not expire.
- Credits stack, and your oldest credits are always used first. Buying a new pack adds to your existing balance rather than replacing it, and your free allowance and older packs are consumed before newer ones, so a newly-bought pack keeps its own full year even if an older batch expires first.
- A credit is consumed when an invoice is created, not when it is emailed, printed, or issued. Editing or resending an existing invoice never consumes another credit.
- Deleting an invoice does not refund the credit that was used to create it. You'll see this stated again in the app before you confirm a deletion.
[TODO: cloudblocks AB, credit pack purchases are treated as non-refundable once paid, and unused credits expire after 1 year. If any purchasers are private individuals (consumers) rather than businesses, Swedish and EU consumer-protection rules may apply to both of these points, including the statutory right of withdrawal for distance purchases, and rules in some jurisdictions restricting or banning expiry dates on prepaid credit. This needs a legal check before publishing, and this section should be revised accordingly.]
A super administrator may grant or remove credits on an account manually (for example, to resolve a support issue), and may adjust, extend, or restrict an account where required, including suspending accounts with unpaid balances.
4. Data retention
Invoices and quotes you generate are retained as part of your account's records so that you and your customers can refer back to them, and are not automatically deleted after generation. You may delete individual invoices or quotes at any time from within the application, or request deletion of your entire account and associated data from the Settings page or by contacting us, see our Privacy Policy for details on how such requests are handled, including specific retention periods.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use FakturaKlar to issue fraudulent documents, to harass recipients, or to violate applicable Swedish, Norwegian, or EU law, including consumer protection and tax regulations.
6. Your responsibility for invoices and quotes
FakturaKlar is a tool that helps you create, send, and track invoices and quotes, it does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for the tax and legal correctness of every invoice and quote you issue through the Service, including applicable VAT/moms treatment, and for the accuracy of the status you set or that is shown on each document (for example, marking an invoice as paid, cancelled, or settled). We are not responsible for errors in your documents or for consequences arising from an incorrect status.
7. Your responsibilities under Swedish accounting law
If you issue invoices to customers in Sweden, Swedish accounting law (Bokföringslagen) sets requirements for what an invoice must contain and how long records must be kept. FakturaKlar provides the tool to create and manage your invoices, but you, the Admin, are responsible for ensuring each invoice you issue meets these requirements, cloudblocks AB is not responsible for the correctness of your accounting or tax reporting. In particular, you are responsible for:
- Correct, sequential invoice numbering, with no gaps or reuse of numbers;
- The invoice date and, where applicable, the delivery date of the goods or services;
- Your own (seller) details: name, address, organisationsnummer, and VAT number;
- Your buyer's details: name and address;
- A clear specification of the goods or services supplied;
- Prices, the applicable VAT rate, the VAT amount, and the total amount;
- Reporting and paying VAT and other taxes to Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency) on time.
You must retain your accounting records, including invoices and quotes, for seven years after the end of the calendar year in which the relevant financial year ended, as required by Bokföringslagen (7 kap.). This is also reflected in how long we retain this data on our systems, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Exporting your data
You can export your invoices as a CSV (spreadsheet) file at any time from the Invoices page, either for a filtered/searched set of invoices or for invoices you select individually. This export includes invoice number, customer, organisation number, invoice date, due date, currency, net amount, discount, VAT, total, amount paid, amount due, and status, useful for your own bookkeeping or for importing into accounting software.
You can also download a complete export of everything stored under your account, your company profile, customers, invoices, quotes, credit notes, payments, products, and tax rates, each as a separate CSV file in a single ZIP archive, from Settings → Data & Privacy. This is useful for keeping your own backup or handing your records to a bookkeeper.
9. Intellectual property
We own all rights, title, and interest in and to the FakturaKlar software and platform, including its design, code, and branding. You retain ownership of your own data, and of the invoices, quotes, and other documents you create using the Service. We do not claim ownership over the content you enter or generate.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or fail to maintain an active, paid plan where required. You may close your account at any time.
11. Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. This includes, without limitation, errors or omissions in any invoice, quote, tax calculation, or other document generated using the Service, or any business, financial, or tax decision you make based on information shown in the Service. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based (contract, tort or negligence, or otherwise), and even where we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under mandatory Swedish or EU law, including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Where our liability cannot be fully excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the total amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 1,000 SEK if you have not made any payment to us in that period.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless cloudblocks AB, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) the content of any invoice, quote, or other document you create or send using the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms or of any applicable law, including tax, accounting, or consumer protection law; or (d) your violation of the rights of a third party, including a customer or recipient of a document you send through the Service.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email to your account's registered address, and show a notice the next time you log in, before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Contact
